After weeks of hard work, we proudly present you our new website! Finally, we can show you in more detail who we are, what we do and why we are doing this! We were so tired of constantly forgetting our passwords for websites, we took the plunge to start our very own startup: Keyn!

Keyn is the solution to one of the most urgent cyber problems in the world today. Almost every week, newspapers report hacks or website insecurities. And this does not only happen to small websites. Even big websites like Dropbox, Linkedin and Yahoo have been breached according to the website Have I Been Pwned. On this website you can also check whether your accounts have been compromised in a data breach as well. So, is your email address in the hands of hackers?

And that's just what concerns us. At the moment of writing this blog, just over 5 billion accounts have been leaked. And this is getting even worse. Many people use the same combination of username and password over and over again. In consequence, hackers who have this combination, can also take over other accounts. In a more and more digitalising world, this is big threat to modern society. And therefore, we believe it's time to make a change!

Keyn is the solution for everyone struggling remembering their passwords. Keyn allows you to log into any website using your phone, making logging in safer and simpler. You never have to remember a single password anymore, because you can just use your fingerprint. And since we are using the connection of your smartphone and browser, the solution is in essence a two-factor authentication method (2FA), something every cybersecurity advice dictates. We really want to help as much people as possible with a safe, easy and fast login process. Right now, we are testing Keyn ourselves together with a small group of alpha-testers to validate the primary authentication process.
